Halal World Expo is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition in the Middle East for the US$2.1 trillion global halal industry. The event took place on 11 – 13 November 2008 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
Now in its 2nd year, Halal World Expo provided Halal industry leaders with an international platform to forge business relations and secure business deals in the Middle East. This year the event was supported by the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) and opened by Dr Mariam Hareb Sultan Al-Yousuf, Executive Director of Policy and Regulation Sector at ADFCA.
